The Wright Search
Have you tried "blogging" before? I've done some blogging in regards to my needlework, but now I want to "blog" my family research. I've started working on my genealogy again and have been keeping a "diary" of what I've done each day and why. Part of my internet search has been viewing the various message boards trying to locate other people searching for my same family lines. I was floundering for awhile and ignoring the good habits I used to practice in my genealogy search. So, I started keeping a record. I thought that perhaps some of you might like to share this experience. If you decide to keep a "blog" also we can create a web ring to view each others thoughts.
I've just come home for a brief vacation and will be starting my search again in the next day or two. I will start with the first few days of notes that I've kept and then add to them on a timely basis. If you see ANYTHING that sounds familiar please contact me at jjordan2@ix.netcom.com

Hi! I am glad to see that someone else has a blog about genealogy. I have been searching my family roots for about seven years now, off and on, and when I got married I started researching my husband's family as well. It can be pretty tiresome sometimes, but I love it. I have a hard time organizing my files and information I collect. Do you have any tips?
